The Badgeman Digs Up Daddy!
Give this man a gold boot, he's done the country community proud! Ma dont like where Pa was buried? No worries! I got me a pickup truck, I got me a shovel, I got me some beer and I got me some air freshener cos Daddy sorta stunk some. Course Badgeman being a decent son and all couldnt let on to Ma the whole story of his disenterring of Pa but you can read it all here! Why just for starters it was like the good ol days when Pa was alive and they went out fishing. Cept this time it was fish for Pa. "I looked down into the grave and saw the casket I remembered from my father’s funeral. It floated in a water-filled vault. One of the workmen used a long piece or rebar, its end bent into a hook, to catch the handle on the end of the casket" reports the Badgeman. You rock mate! Thats one helluva catch!
Course Ma might not have been too happy either with Badgey lugging Pa's waterlogged leaking stinking casket down the main highway through town. "At each stop I detected a bad odor coming from the crate. The odor seemed to grow stronger at each stop. By the time I was half-way across Arkansas, the smell was quite strong. I thought, I hoped that the smell came from the mildew but I feared otherwise." No worries though, Badge had an idea!
"When at last I arrived home, I parked behind a storage shed in my backyard, away from prying eyes. I quickly removed the crate from over the casket. The bottom of the crate was wet from water leaking from the casket. I went to the house to get a bucket of water and a scrub brush. For the next two-and-a-half hours I scrubbed the casket with hot water and Lysol, trying to remove the mildew. When I was finished the casket looked much better, almost new except for the damaged paint, but the odor was worse than ever."
Course like any good ol boy, ya dont shirk ya duty! "Single-handedly, I wrestled the casket from the truck. With each movement I could hear water sloshing within. I was already exhausted from the trip and from scrubbing the casket but I managed (to) remove the casket and to rest it on four kitchen chairs I set up to hold it." Thataboy Badge, dont ya worry none bout Dad's dripping over the kitchen chairs! Why it aint like he never sat on em before he died, so whats the odour of a little corpse wax and rotting flesh between family come next meal time! Well I dont want to spoil the whole story, complete with beautifully taken graphic pictures of Daddy's decomposing remains sloshing round as Badgeman got him back in the truck. And I reckon its bloody moving to see how Ma was in there at the reburial, you's sure can swing a hoe! I'm giving this site a mighty 7½ Boots outta 10 and me hats off to ya Badgester, thats showing them city folk what family love and caring is all about in the country! So check out his site out at http://www.tcac.net/~badgeman/aug13-15/aug13-15.html

Country Music Broadcasting - News for Artists NEW ARTISTS OFFERED ON-AIR RADIO PROMOTION
CMB Artist Services - A Grass-roots Country Music Industry Initiative
All country music artists have to start somewhere, and most often that's amongst family, friends or their local community. The best country music isn't necessarily found in the world of the existing popular or famous stars, but often in the small clubs, venues and organisations that provide country performers of any "level" the chance to share their music. That's the true nature of country music, it comes from the heart and real lives of real people.
Giving all artists the opportunity to air their music to a wider audience is an important aim of Country Music Broadcasting. CMB is keen to hear from show presenters, artists and country music organisations to see what assistance, support, promotion and broadcast opportunities CMB can help provide. Remember everyone has a beginning, and this offer via CMB to be heard on-air is an excellent chance to achieve exposure. So don't hesitate to contact CMB with your ideas and suggestions or to let CMB Radio know about any existing country radio shows you believe could benefit from the backing or support of CMB. If you would like to be considered for an on-air interview, please do not hesitate to contact CMB. You will then be contacted requesting further details and/or to make appropriate interview arrangements.
