Memorable Moments |
| "...there was this tree that almost touched the roof of the house I grew up in. It was an off limits area, up the dark shadowed side of the property. I'd climb it, make a short but perilous jump to the roof and sit up on the peak, just watching the world. Maybe I started doing that when I was 8. I still do it now, climbing out my second floor window, sitting between the two steep peaked roofs, looking across the valley. Sadly I never see anyone on top of their house to wave to... maybe one day I'll meet someone who climbs rooftops." |
