Moonlight in Chicago
The classic power ballad

Kip Davies, CountryPunk

Memorable Moments
"...there was this tree that almost touched the roof of the house I grew up in. It was an off limits area, up the dark shadowed side of the property. I'd climb it, make a short but perilous jump to the roof and sit up on the peak, just watching the world. Maybe I started doing that when I was 8. I still do it now, climbing out my second floor window, sitting between the two steep peaked roofs, looking across the valley. Sadly I never see anyone on top of their house to wave to... maybe one day I'll meet someone who climbs rooftops."

The Classics
There's moonlight in Chicago,
There's a portrait in the sky.
Maybe it was the only answer,
Guess I'll always wonder why.

There's brotherhood in Africa,
They're all in the same sunk boat.
Nobody's fighting with each other now,
As long as there's life, there's hope.

I heard Father Time called a meeting,
He said all is not too well.
Maybe it's time we should be leaving,
While the clock showed five past twelve.

There's moonlight in Chicago,
There's a portrait in the sky.
Maybe it was the only answer,
Guess I'll always wonder why.
