YOU COULD BE WRONG

Memorable Moments
"...so we are all fired up for the biggest gig we'd ever done, headlining a big night at Melbourne University... band trying to really fire up... I can't recall who came up with some story about the Beatles and how they started. The story went that Brian Epstein asked the Beatles where they wanted to go... to the top, the very top came the reply... I wonder if that story's got any truth to it? We mimicked it anyhow. We never got even close to the level of the Beatles, but we did play on the rooftop of a tough housing comission block of flats one night... no lifts, only stairs, lugging our guitars and our mates who used wheel chairs up there with us... a mad mad night... that was our equivalent to the Beatle's concert at Abbey Road"

The Classics
Switchboards jammed with phone calls to the SEC,
Everyone's complaining there's no power to my TV,
Fireman's busy cutting twisted metal,
From the young kids trapped inside,
I hear him cry,
Are they still alive?

I cannot make my coffee cos my jugs run off the mains,
I thought that this was summer now its freezing in this rain,
Doctors passing out the white sheets,
Rains washing crimson down my street,
I hear him cry,
Are they still alive?

Don't you think you could be wrong?
Maybe just this once don't you think you're better off,
You could be wrong,
You could be wrong.

People are gathering did ya see the flash,
Old Jack is a friend of mine and he said he saw them crash,
Tried to run a red light travelling in the fast lane,
Now they've got to pay the price,
And nobody seems to feel the pain.

Don't you think you could be wrong?
Maybe just this once don't you think you're better off,
You could be wrong,
You could be wrong.
