11/05/2006: "Ghost Skull on our Webcam last night?!"

Hi everyone! Regular viewer "Beefeater" emailed in a still from webcam last night and I'd noticed it too!!

So the blog isn't too slow to load I've put a small version at left and under it what I think the shadowy shape is - a Tasmanian Devil skull!! What do you guys think?

I'm camping out this weekend at my bush retreat so I can't check yet if maybe the skull shape has come from the outside Store light reflecting back off a window display Kip setup. That's probably the answer to the mystery, still how cool hey!! It would be accidental even so. Or maybe when I get back to the WB&F HQ it really will turn out to be something unexplained!! Woo hoo!!

G'day partner in wild blue ways Alas, though totally unintentional, the shadowy figure is the external lights reflecting off the curtains behind the window display at night... and yes, I did put a fantastic example of a Tassie Devil skull on display for the tourists who stop by here each day. I found it down by an isolated stretch of railway line... quite an old skull but in perfect condition! You can see from the shadow how widely their jaws open. Cool eh?! **Kip**
