music: Strummer Live (1986)
mood: Over the moon and rarin to go!!
Well hellloooo all!! Imagine my pleasure and surprise when my 'normal' boss told me I'd get to be Wild, Blue and Free for a month or so!! Ruby decided to get an early start to her Chrissie and New Year season (what did you do to her Kip?!! hehehehe
) so AMG reckoned it might be fun to see what happens when a country girl from a large outback NSW station was chucked in with a Tassie based bush artist.
Part of the job spec is to try to grab Kip and see if we can get him on stage during some of the AMG events over the New Year break - all of which we'll be webcasting here on Wild, Blue and Free including the normal behind-the-scenes fun and mayhem that makes this whole project so much fun!! Woooo hooooo, watch out world, I can't wait!! Luv yas all, Catie.

G'day G&J, I forgot to resolve your bet... hope not too many dinners have been skipped as a result
Well to the best that I could tell the second car we crawled through, the one in the creek, is an old 1950's era "Holden". Holden (the company and the man) often added car bodies to chassis's, and then added a special badge identifying it as being assembled by Holden... including using a Pontiac body at one point. Later they also rebadged Vauxhall's... most notably in the first of what we call "Torana's" here in Oz. These are pretty famous cars here thanks to motorsport legend Peter Brock, who raced such a Vauxhall/Torana to glory in Australia's greatest race at Bathurst in NSW. Anyhow... now you see why I shouldnt get onto cars, I ramble way too much! I think the car in the creek didn't fall under either example, but was a generic body design used by Holden in the first of their major production (rather than just boady assembly). Now what's the bet this answer doesn't really help?

I liked the humoress comments in the show on Blair Witch. Unlike Blair Witch I enjoyed every minute of your special and not only picked up many informative facts, it inspired me to want to go exploring a similar sounding area near me. Great show.

G'day all! It's ace to have our AMG team like Catie being such a top help to Ruby and I in getting WB&F out there. Thanks indeed from us both Catie!
Just for our supporters sake, what Cate's hoping to do is use this month to build up the musical side of our WB&F lives here... meanwhile Ruby, who's as bad as me when it comes to loving all this stuff, is actually working on songs herself, hunting around for new stories/angles and much more... I don't think either of us really know what "holidays" mean
Stay tuned for a couple of our more recent "holiday" colaborations, they may still be rough, but they are real - as Wild, Blue and Free as this series has been to date
CHEERS ALL! **Kip**

Yowie!! That's such fantastic feedback people, and I know Kip and Ruby will always be so touched to read it. Thank you EVERYONE!! Some questions, especially your bet G&J I'll have to get Kipper to answer. Good luck keeping him brief, he sooooooo loves his cars!! And dear Stu, the best thing I'm most proud of right now is being a small part of the team that supports Wild, Blue and Free. Forget the rest, this is the best (I'm biased aren't I? hehehehehe). Luv ya all, thanks so much, **Catie**

Hi Catie. How come you Australian country girls are all so pretty. Were you on a few episodes of McLeod's Daughters, I have the collection on tape and in season three there was a special guest over a short period that looks just likes you and the actress' name is Cate (???). Wild Blue is most enjoyable, I can't wait to see what you get up to

Can you resolve our bet please. My husband says the car that Kip climbed into in the stream was a Pontiac. I thought Kip called it a Holden and it reminded me of an early Vauxhall. Who cooks dinner is at stake, hence this is a most important question. Great show, best so far.
