Checking In

blogruby3 (6k image)
Hello, Hello,

Its Ruby here checking in to see what’s happening with everyone. At the moment I am a very happy girl after spending a day yesterday with my camera in hand and the landscape of historical Tasmania to explore. To be completely honest I am really enjoying Wild, Blue and Free as it’s a breath of fresh air for Tasmania. We were gallivanting over fences and discovering lost treasures hidden amongst the landscape yesterday and although its Winter the sun was out and the sky was blue.
Can’t ask for much more,
Lots a love
Ruby

Chilly weather, warm company

Ruby and I headed out on Saturday to explore some more and see if we could put together a bit of an intro for a special on Oatlands and beyond. Up the highway we went and back, mounting a camera in the inside gun rack of Kermit our truck. May as well use it for our camera, all our shooting's done with cameras!

I'm enjoying reading your comments, thanks!

blogread2 (7k image)Thanks all for bothering to comment on the blog entries, and for all the emails this weekend. I've had an ace time reading through everything, and I keep looking forward to checking my email and our blog each day.

Being a bit awkward at emails (amongst other things), I'm wading through them slowly as far as replying goes. I hope to personally reply by the end of the week... just don't let me get too slack, keep them coming in smile

If you have ANY suggestions how we could make "Wild, Blue and Free" even more interactive and fun for YOU also, PLEASE email me or drop a comment here in the blog. THANKS AGAIN ALL, cheers!

1st Day of Winter Down Under

Today is the official start of Winter here in Tasmania. Part of the beauty of this great island state of Australia, is the distinctly noticeable seasons. Back on the mainland the changes are more subtle; in Tassie each season is marked by unique weather, colours, atmosphere, and experiences.

Will we get snow this winter? Will the semi-drought conditions break for those of us on the land? Stock up the woodpiles, clean out the flue, and rug up for the exploring ahead for us as the elements do their best to make each Wild, Blue and Free journey a true challenge and adventure! Cheers all!
